more progress on model

today was spent removing moulding lines and marking out hull for trimming and cutting out freeing ports, fairlead holes, running gear and access doors.

i used random orbir sander fitted 120 line
disc to remove keel line and area around

nozzles. very quick and easy.

then, useing a pair of dividers and a rule, i
marked out for the cutouts for access door

etc by measuring on the plan from suitable

reference points and transferring to the hull
with pencil.

finally, drilled and cut the holes for the
shafts, rudder posts and "A" frames.

total building time 8.5 hours
